Junior School (Years 7 to 9)

Over the years our Junior school team have fostered special relationships with the newest members of the school that help to establish a solid foundation for life at Mirboo North Secondary College into the future. Offering many orientation experiences it helps students to become comfortable and familiar in their new learning environment.

Students have access to a range of core and elective studies that can help to promote creativity, engagement and a passion for learning.

Our talented and caring staff work with students and parents to help build and maintain positive working relationships. We continually promote health and well-being throughout Junior school and actively encourage students to take advantage of any co-curricular activities such Sport, Music, Landcare, Library, and Camps.

Our award winning (curriculum innovation and excellence) year 9 program has been structured in a way that allows students to gain hands on access to their local community. Students learn about and grow their employability skills while acquiring a range of certificates to support their learning. Students actively engage with the broader community including the Aged Care Facility, Landcare and build mutually respectful relationships that can last a lifetime.
