On Tuesday May 15, Mirboo North Secondary College's staff was treated to a Sudanese dining experience organised by the VCAL class. It was a 3 course feast featuring cubab with injerra, sukoma with rice and athseda with semolina. We were very fortunate to have Achol, Elizabeth, Aluet and Nyachudier from the local Sudanese community volunteer their time to come in and cook alongside our students. We also had Sharon Sandy (the welfare officer from the Latrobe English Language Centre) and Nelle Payne (the coordinator of Latrobe English Language Centre) lending their support. ...... Read More
